Pineapple jam to preserve

This delicious and nutritious pineapple jam is a simple recipe to make and also because once made you can keep it packaged without inconvenience for about a year and be able to savor it when you want to consume it.

Ingredients:

1 large pineapple
500 grams of sugar
juice of 1 large lemon
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Preparation:

First remove the peel and core from the pineapple, cut it into pieces and place them in a bowl, sprinkle them with the lemon juice and add the sugar. Leave this preparation to marinate for three hours.

Then place them in a pot, over low heat until the pieces are tender. Then grind them with the mixer and continue cooking without stopping stirring until it thickens. When it is thick add the cinnamon powder. Finally, pack the jam in glass jars and sterilize them in a water bath for thirty minutes.
