El pineapple carpaccio with honey and raisins is a great summer dessert. Light and refreshing, it's a quick and easy way to finish a good family meal. The ingredients are easy to find and with a pineapple we can prepare up to 6 servings between 6 and 8 servings.
We have called it carpaccio for the way the pineapple is presented in thin sheets. We know that carpaccio refers to a preparation in thin slices of meat or fish, raw, but somehow we had to call it. You can present it with raisins, with dried fruits or red fruits, whatever you like!
- 7 thin slices of pineapple
- 1 tablespoon of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 8-10 raisins
- We peel the pineapple and with a very sharp knife the cut into thin slices.
- We present the slices on a plate and sprinkle them with a little orange juice.
- Next, we decorate the plate with some honey threads and some raisins.
- We serve cold.
