Pickled mussel croquettes
Sometimes, we do the big shopping at home and when the provisions run out, we see a small tin can that is about to expire. And, you want to not eat it alone, but in a kind of special dish, something different that gives it a very different touch and texture.
That is why I have wanted to share being croquettes of pickled mussels, because they came out delicious and so we take advantage of the food that are about to expire to make new recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 can of pickled mussels.
- 1/4 onion.
- 1 tablespoon and a half of flour.
- Milk.
- Olive oil.
- Salt or avecrem pill.
Preparation
First of all, we will have to chop both the onion and the mussels very well. The mussel broth, we will not throw it away, we will reserve it for later.
Then we will put in a pan a good drizzle of olive oil. We will add the onion and fry it, and then add the mussels.
Later, we will incorporate the flour and we will sauté it a little, so that it loses its flavor. And, we are making the milk little by little until it forms a small mass that comes off the walls of the pan. We will let temper.
Finally, we will take small portions of this croquettes dough, we will mold them and we will bread for flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs.
