Peach sponge cake (without egg)

Peach cake without egg

Hello everyone! How are you?. Today I bring you a very simple sweet recipe suitable for all audiences: A cake peach without egg. The option of making cakes without eggs always comes in handy when we want to prepare a snack that many children will attend and we don't know if they will be allergic or not.

This time I prepared it with peach, but it could have been made with other flavors (I'll tell you about it at the end of the recipe, in the suggestions). Go preheating the oven and let's go with the recipe!

Difficulty level: Easy

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Bake time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. Of flour
  • 250 gr. sugar
  • Half a liter of milk
  • 100 ml of Olive Oil
  • 1 sachet of backing powder
  • 1 peach (can be in syrup)

Preparation:

First of all we are going to pass the milk through the blender along with half a peach. We will mix this shake with the sugar, the oil, the yeast and we will add the flour little by little. When everything is well mixed we will grease a mold with a little oil or butter, sprinkle with flour and introduce the mixture. We chop half of the peach that we had left before and distribute it on the surface.

Bake at 180ºC for about 40 minutes and that's it.

When serving ...

Take it out of the mold and lightly sprinkle with icing sugar.

Recipe suggestions:

  • Instead of peach you can use any other fruit such as strawberry, banana or apple, for example.
  • If you prefer, you can not put fruit, in that case, you can add the zest of a lemon.
  • Instead of putting pieces of fruit on top, you can leave it as is and spread it with melted chocolate.
  • You can add chocolate chips, chopped nuts, almonds ... to the mixture.

The best…

It has as many variants as you can think of, and without the danger of an egg allergy!
