Therefore, today we have proposed a rich recipe based on frozen peas, these accompanied by a cooked rice and a little Serrano ham to give it flavor and a fresh touch.

Ingredients

  • 300 g of green peas Frozen
  • 100 g of Serrano ham.
  • 100 g rice.
  • 1/2 onion.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • 1 brick of low calorie cream.
  • Water.
  • Olive oil.
  • Salt

Preparation

First, we will do the rice White. To do this, in a small casserole, we will brown the two sliced ​​garlic cloves, and then add the rice. We will stir a little to make it toast and then we will add double the water. We will cook for about 20 minutes.

Moreover, we will cook the peas in water frozen. In addition, we will cut the Serrano ham into small cubes and reserve it to sauté with the cooked white rice.

Then, in a frying pan we will begin to brown the half onion finely chopped in olive oil. When it is poached, we will add the peas, stir a little and add a splash of white wine. Then, we will add the cream and let it cook for a few minutes.

Lastly, we will crush the peas until you get a light cream (add water if allowed). We will place the cream together with the rice and the ham that we have previously sautéed.
