During winter I always have chicken or vegetable broth in the fridge. That way I can prepare a delicious homemade soup at any time. And to think that there was a time when I did not like soups ... This pasta and chicken is a great alternative to warm up.
There is no way to have a warm soup waiting when you get home after a difficult and cold day, don't you agree? Soups also admit numerous ingredients. In this case we have taken advantage of the chicken used to make the broth and we have added pasta and some vegetables to make it more complete. Do you dare to prepare it?
- 1 pollo
- 1 Carrot
- 2 celery
- 1 cebolla
- 9 cups of water
- Salt and pepper
- The shredded chicken
- Carrots 2
- 1 stalk of celery
- ½ onion
- 3 cups of pasta (sharks)
- We clean the chicken with cold water and put it in a large pot.
- We cut the carrot and the celery stalks in half and the onion in quarters. We add to the pot.
- We pour the water and bring to a boil. When it boils, add salt and pepper and reduce to heat. We simmer the broth for 30 minutes or until the chicken is well cooked.
- While the broth cooks, chop the remaining vegetables in small pieces and reserve.
- Once the broth is ready, we remove the chicken and we strain the broth, returning it to the pot. We are not going to waste anything!
- We place the chicken on a cutting board and when it is tempered we shred the meat to return it to the pot.
- We also chop the vegetables used to make the broth and add them together with those that we already have reserved for the pot.
- Cook the whole for 15 minutes over low heat while, in a separate casserole, we cook the pasta. Once cooked, drain and reserve.
- We rectify the salt point of the soup and the we serve in bowls. We place the pasta on the side so that everyone can serve themselves whatever they want.
