Ingredients
  • 750 grams of potatoes
  • 750 grams of onions
  • 150 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • Paprika from the vera to taste
  • White pepper to taste
  • Sal Island

Preparation
  1. We peel and we cut the potatoes into slices neither too thin nor too thick… About 0,5 cm thick. Meanwhile, in a pot, add the olive oil to heat.
  2. Next, we peel also the onions, cutting slices to the same thickness as the potatoes.
  3. Once we have everything peeled and cut, and the oil is very hot, we add it all to the pot, and we lower the fire to half. We are stirring to prevent the potatoes or onions from sticking to the bottom.
  4. As last steps, We will add the salt, the white pepper and the paprika from the vera to taste. I personally like paprika quite a bit so I added about 2 tablespoons.
  5. The following will be let it simmer over medium-low heat for more or less 1 hour to later plate. The potatoes should be tender but not undone either.

Notes
You can add any other spice in addition to those already indicated. According to your tastes.
