A Nutella and Walnut Pie, a delicious cake for chocolate lovers. A cake with a crunchy base and a juicy and tender filling. A great cake to taste after a good meal, we can also have it for afternoon tea with a coffee.
This cake has Maple Syrup, it gives a very good flavor to sweets, but if you do not want to put it, you can change it for honey or sugar, but the toasted flavor of the syrup gives the cake a very pleasant and rich flavor.

Ingredients
- 125 g. Nutella
- 3 eggs
- 60 g. of butter
- 50 g. icing sugar
- + 10 g. to decorate
- 200 g. Maple Syrup
- A pinch of salt
- 1 package of breeze dough
- A handful of walnuts
Preparation
- We turn the oven to 180ºC as it warms up.
- We take a removable mold and cover with the breeze dough, place it well in the mold and cut the leftovers, bake it for about 10 minutes. We take out and reserve.
- We put a saucepan with the butter, the Nutella, the icing sugar, a pinch of salt and the maple syrup, we put it on the fire without stopping stirring until everything is integrated. We remove it from the fire and let it temper.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and add them little by little to the previous preparation.
- We fill the base of the cake with this cream, put it in the oven for about 25 minutes, remove it and distribute some walnuts on top, sprinkle with icing sugar and put it in the oven with the grill on for a couple of minutes so that the nuts are caramelised .
- We let it cool down.
- Sprinkle with a little more icing sugar.
- And ready to eat !!!
- You can change the maple syrup for honey or sugar, it is also very good.
