The healthy recipe to make this natural strawberry jelly is a homemade and simple preparation for the whole family to consume spread with slices of toast, water cookies or as a base for fillings of sweet cakes with cream cheese.
Ingredients:
1 liter of water
1 kg of fresh strawberries
500 grams of sugar
juice of 2 lemons
Preparation:
Cook the strawberries together with the water and the lemon juice for approximately 35 minutes over a very low heat. Once cooked, strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer and add the sugar.
Put this preparation to cook over low heat until it thickens. You must observe that the jelly should be clear and transparent and not more consistent like jams.
