Mushrooms stuffed with ham

The mushrooms is a very rich food in summer, since with them we can make multiple recipes, be it a cream, as fillings, as sauteed, it is a very versatile food.

These have many health benefitsas they contain many minerals. These are good for fluid retention or even hypertension. In addition, they are very healthy and recommended for weight loss diets.

Ingredients

  • Large mushrooms.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • 1 onion.
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 tomatoes.
  • Olive oil.
  • Salt
  • Balsamic vinegar.
  • Serrano ham strips.

Preparation

Firstly, we will wash the mushrooms very well. To do this, we will wash them under the water tap, to loosen the soil that it may have. In addition, we will have to dry them well with some napkins so that they do not catch that moisture and spread.

Then we will detach the stems from the hats of the mushrooms, and we will hollow them for later filling them. Both the stems and the leftovers from hollowing them, we will use them for the filling, so reserve them cut into small cubes.

Then we will do the filling. To do this, we will cut all the vegetables into small cubes, and in a pan with olive oil we will slowly poach them so that they do not burn. First, the garlic, then the onion, then the two types of peppers, and finally the tomatoes. Later we will add the remains of mushrooms and their stems.

When we see that the filling is almost ready, we will put in another fry the mushrooms with a little oil of olive and salt, so that they are done.

Finally, we will stuff the mushrooms and we will place a little strips of ham on top. To decorate, we will put a little parsley. I hope you like the recipe, take advantage of it!
