Mushroom sauce, a tasty side dish
La mushrooms sauce It is one of my favorites. It can be prepared all year round, although it is especially enjoyed in the fall, during mushroom season. A sauce ready in 30 minutes that can be used to accompany both pasta and meat dishes.

You can play with different types of mushrooms; Keep in mind that the tastier and fresher the latter are, the better result you will get.It is a perfect sauce to accompany the potato gnocchi that we prepared yesterday. The result, I am sure, will surprise you.
Ingredients
For 2 pasta dishes
- 1/2 small onion
- 100 g of mushrooms
- 120 g of arrows
- 200 ml of liquid cream 35%
- Sal Island
- 1/3 teaspoon of Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of dried Basil

Crafting
We cut the onion Julienne it and poach it in a frying pan with a splash of oil.
Chop the mushrooms and add them to the pan. We sauté them until they take on a toasted tone.
We then add the cream and spices. Salt and let the mixture boil for about 10 min, stirring from time to time. The sauce will thicken and it will take the right consistency to use as an accompaniment.
We serve hot with a plate of pasta or a good meat.
Notes
La nutmeg slightly kills the flavor of the cream and enhances other flavors, try!
