Muffins with walnuts

Today I bring you some delicious muffins with walnuts. A great recipe for breakfasts or snacks. These are also sweetened with maple syrup, which gives it a very good toasted caramel flavor.

A simple recipe with a great result, which is worth doing. In a short time we have some great muffins, which you can keep in a tin and last for several days.

Ingredients
  • 80 gr. butter at room temperature
  • 60 gr. brown sugar
  • An envelope of vanilla sugar
  • 60 ml. maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 gr. Of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 50 gr. walnut
  • 12 half walnuts for garnish
  • Powdered sugar
  • 12 muffin tins

Preparation
  1. We will preheat the oven to 170ºC
  2. We take a bowl and put the butter, brown sugar and vanilla sugar.
  3. We mix everything until we get all the ingredients well mixed.
  4. Add the maple syrup, the two tablespoons of milk, the eggs and beat. Next we put the flour together with the yeast and the pinch of salt and we add it to the dough little by little and mix everything well.
  5. Chop the walnuts, reserving a few whole ones to decorate the muffins, add them to the dough and stir to incorporate them.
  6. We put the capsules in a mold or on the oven plate and we fill them up to a little more than half, in each capsule we put half a nut in the center.
  7. We will put the muffins in the oven, after about 15 minutes you will prick the center of a muffin with a toothpick, if it comes out dry they will be ready, if you do not leave them for a few more minutes.
  8. We let them temper and decorate them with a little icing sugar.
  9. And ready to eat !!!
  10. With these quantities 12 muffins come out
