Ingredients
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 1 kg of almonds
  • Yolks 12

Preparation
  1. The first thing we will do is peel the almonds and crush them then, but without turning them completely into powder. We will leave small pieces.
  2. We will beat the sugar and we will mix it well with the almonds.
  3. Then in the same bowl with the almonds and sugar, we will add the egg yolks little by little until we get a paste.
  4. If we see that a paste is too hard, we will add some egg white to counteract.
  5. We will pour the resulting pasta on a mold. We will cover with paper, we will place a weight on top so that the nougat is well pressed and we will keep in a cool place for about 3 or 4 hours.
  6. The last thing will be toast with a blowtorch (this is optional) the top of the nougat and cut into small ounces ...
  7. And ready! Ready-to-eat nougat mini-bites!
