Meatballs in sauce

Meatballs in sauce

Hello everyone! How did you pass the bridge? I hope that very well, although the same thing always happens, that the good thing ends quickly ... As it happened to me with these meatballs in sauce, which I did not dare to make, I was stuck in that recipe that I told you a while ago with raisin sauce and caramelized onion, but finally I dared. And they flew.

What I liked the most is that at home only my husband and I like vegetables, the rest do not even want to see them except in very specific recipes, however with this there was not a complaint and the pan was empty, which always It is a good sign for those of us who walk among the stoves. With that said, let's go with the recipe.

Difficulty level: Easy

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Mince
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 cebolla
  • Olive oil
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • Olives (optional)

Preparation:

In a frying pan, heat the oil and poach the onion, cut very small. Then we add the pepper (I cut it into strips) and the diced tomatoes. We let everything cook over low heat and while we are forming the meatballs.

There are those who form them by adding breadcrumbs, egg, etc. I don't do anything to them, I just add a little salt, mix well and make the balls. If the sauce in the pan is ready, add salt, pepper and the meatballs and cook them until they have a light golden hue, then add water and let it cook together until the meatballs are done and the sauce is our own. taste. After adding water I also added olives, but it is optional.

When serving ...

I accompanied them with a simple salad, but if they are going to eat children it will have better results if they accompany them with some french fries or mashed potatoes.

Recipe suggestions:

  • If we want to thicken the sauce we can add a tablespoon of concentrated tomato.
  • I didn't have it at the time, but I think a bay leaf would suit him very well.

The best…

This recipe is suitable for tupperware. Heat up and voila!
