Meat and rice
This rice with meat is ideal for these days when it is not excessively hot and you start to crave spoon dishes. It's great!

Ingredients
- 350 grams of rice
- 1 and ½ liters of water
- 500 gr of chopped chicken
- 200 grams of grated tomato
- Virgin olive oil
- Sal Island
- Paprika
- Saffron
Preparation
- We take a large pot in which we will pour a good jet of olive oil. When the oil is hot we will add the chopped chicken (preferably boneless). We let it get around 10-15 minutes over low heat. So we will brown it a little on the outside but without being completely done.
- Next we will add to the pot the grated tomato or crushed, a little salt and el paprika. We stir well and let everything do for approximately 5 minutes over medium heat.
- The next thing to add is the rice, water and saffron. We cover the pot and leave over medium heat for approximately 15-20 minutes. We stir every 5 minutes so that the rice does not stick and controlling the amount of water. We taste salt and set aside when the rice is just right.
