Ingredients:
175g butter, diced
Icing sugar to decorate
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 medium eggs
175g brown sugar
6 tbsp malt powder
140g of whole wheat flour with yeast
400g of chopped dark chocolate
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180º. Grease and line a square mold. Melt 175g of chocolate with the butter in a double boiler. Dissolve the malt powder in 2 tablespoons of water. Beat the eggs and sugar until thick and frothy. Add the melted chocolate, vanilla, and malt powder. Sift the flour, incorporate the grains from the sieve, add the rest of the chopped chocolate and mix with enveloping movements. Pour into the mold and bake, until it has risen and is firm. Let cool on a rack. Cut the cake into squares, decorate with icing sugar and serve.
