Light and refreshing watermelon and avocado salad
What would a summer be without salads? Although the season is about to end, this summer I have experimented with different ingredients and I have yet to show you some recipes. The point is not to get bored cooking or eating. My proposal for today is light and healthy What else can we ask for?
La watermelon and avocado salad It is very refreshing, ideal for those days when the heat becomes unbearable. Watermelon has exceptional properties, in addition to being very light, it is diuretic, has carotenoids in large quantities and provides us with vitamin C. Avocado, for its part, has a high content of vegetable oils, being an excellent food in terms of nutrition in moderate proportions. Both fruits are complemented and combined with various lettuces to create this simple recipe. Not sure what to do with the other half of the watermelon? Prepare this delicious smoothie.
Ingredients
For two people
- 200 g. of mixed lettuce sprouts
- 1/2 watermelon
- 1 Avocado
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lime juice
- Sal Island
Crafting
We incorporate the lettuce sprouts to a bowl.
Then we cut the watermelon and the diced avocado and add them to our salad.
Lightly salt, add with a drizzle of extra virgin oil and the squeezed juice of a small file.
We mix so that the flavors are integrated and we serve fresh.
