Leek and cheese dumplings

Leek and cheese dumplings, original and very good to surprise our guests.
If you like leek this is a delight. Sometimes we have a loose leek, well with that and a little cheese we prepare an aperitif or a very rich accompanimentYou will surely like it, since when you bring the cheese, it leaves the flavor of the leek much softer.
All the Leek and cheese dumplings are easy and quick to prepare, you can make enough and freeze. You can also add ham or something that you like but little so as not to remove the flavor of the main ingredients.
I'm sure you'll like them, in my house they like them a lot and they don't like leek very much, but accompanied by cheese they are very good.

If you want them lighter, you make them in the oven. They're very good!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 leeks
  • Grated cheese

Preparation
  1. To make the leek and cheese dumplings, we will start by preparing the ingredients. We wash and cut the leek, removing the green part.
  2. We put a frying pan on the fire with a little oil and poach the leek over medium heat.
  3. When the leek is well poached, we add grated cheese and mix.
  4. We put a splash of liquid cream, it has to be like a croquettes dough only a little creamier.
  5. We stir it, we will add cheese as we like the flavor and with the cream we give it a creamy point. When it is let the dough temper.
  6. We prepare the dumplings on the table.
  7. We will put in the center a tablespoon of the filling.
  8. We close the dumplings and with the help of a fork we will seal the edges.
  9. We put a pan with plenty of oil and when it is hot frying, tossing the patties.
  10. As they brown, we will remove them and put them on kitchen paper, so that it absorbs the excess oil.
  11. We will put them in a source and ready to eat !!!
