Macaroni with hot sauce

Macaroni with hot sauce, an easy and very good pasta dish. The spicy touch gives an excellent flavor to the tomato sauce, which is great with pasta.

This is a classic spicy sauce well known in ItalyAlthough in each house it gives it its own touch, we can also accompany this dish with grated Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  • 400 gr. macaroni
  • A large can of tomato, crushed or natural
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Pepper
  • Grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 cayenne or hot chilli peppers
  • black olives
  • Oil and salt

Preparation
  1. We put a saucepan with oil, when it is hot we will put the minced garlic and cayenne, when the garlic begins to brown, we will add the whole can of tomato, we will let it cook over low heat until it reduces almost half, about 30-40 minutes .
  2. We will stir the tomato so that it does not stick, halfway through cooking we will add a teaspoon of sugar, to soften the acidity of the tomato.
  3. When there is little left we add a little salt, pepper, basil and oregano, we will stir it well and when it has cooked for about 5 minutes we try and finish adding it to our liking. We booked.
  4. We prepare the pasta, we put a saucepan with enough water and when it starts to boil we add a good handful of salt and we will add the pasta, we stir with a spoon so that it is loose and we let it cook until it is ready, according to the manufacturer or to our liking.
  5. When the pasta is ready, we drain it well and transfer it to a source, we will put the hot tomato sauce on top, we will chop black olives, we will put a little parsley all over the sauce and we will serve very hot.
  6. Now it only remains to accompany it with a little grated cheese to taste.
