Today I bring you a simple recipe for a sauce that will get you out of more than one hurry. It is a sauce that for my taste serves as much for fish, meat as pasta. Here also plays in part the personal taste of each. You will need few ingredients but more than one spice. Shall we get down to it?
Cream, honey and mustard sauce
Sauces play a very important role when it comes to flavoring meat, fish or pasta. Without them, the dish would not be the same, without a doubt.

Ingredients
- 250 ml of cream
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
- 2 tablespoons rosemary honey
- Parmesan
- Nutmeg
- Black pepper
- Parsley
- Sal Island
Preparation
- So that our sauce does not form lumps, we are going to make it over low heat and without stopping stirring. To do this, we choose a wooden spoon and a medium size saucepan.
- The first thing we will add will be the liquid cream to cook and immediately afterwards, we will add a little nutmeg and a touch of black pepper. We will begin to stir.
- Once the cream has taken some temperature, we will add the two tablespoons of mustard. We continue stirring ... Meanwhile, we will pour the two tablespoons of honey to preheat microwave. Just give it half a minute. In this way, the honey will be liquid and it will not cost so much to integrate it into the mixture.
- We add the melted honey and continue moving ...
- Finally, and in the last 5 minutes, when the sauce has already heated up enough, we add the Parmesan (to taste), parsley and a pinch of salt. We test and remove from the fire.
Notes
In my house, we use this sauce mainly to add it to chicken breasts, veal fillets or pasta. It's delicious!
