Thinking about next Tuesday, I have prepared these honey and orange madeleines. I have thought that they can be a great sweet with which to surprise your partner on valentine. They are a great addition to your morning coffee, but also a delicious dessert.
The madeleines They are simple to make and therefore suitable for all those without much experience in the kitchen. The only thing you will need to make them is a metal mold with the characteristic shell shape. Soft and delicate, you can decorate them with icing sugar or partially dip them in dark chocolate. Don't you want to turn on the oven? So, we invite you to prepare this Orange sweet.
- 90g. of butter
- 2 eggs L
- 80g. of sugar
- 15-20g. of honey
- Zest of 1 orange
- 88g. pastry flour
- 5g. baking powder
- Icing sugar or chocolate to decorate
- We melt the butter, either in a saucepan, or microwaved. We remove and let it temper.
- We beat the eggs with the sugar on high speed, until they are white and double in size.
- We add the lemon zest and the honey from the edge of the container, in a thread, without stopping to beat.
- Next, we gradually add the flour and yeast sifted. We do it while beating at low speed.
- We finally add the melted butter from the edge of the bowl, continuing to beat.
- We pour the dough into a container with a hermetic lid and we reserve in the fridge a minimum of two hours.
- After that time, we preheat the oven to 200ºC and grease and flour mold.
- We put a small amount of mass in each hole, until ¾ part of it is covered.
- Bake 10-12 minutes until the surface is golden.
- We remove from the oven and unmold.
