Homemade salad

A summer dish homemade salad, the star dish of the summer that admits many variations in each house we prepare it to our liking. Also great as a lid

We can have this dish in advance, since it must be in the fridge so that it is fresh, the mayonnaise if it is better to make it almost immediately, you have to be careful, if you cannot buy it already prepared.

I prepare it with potatoes, peas, carrots and round beans, you can also use the one they sell if you like what it takes, they sell it frozen and in jars cooked, for a day in a hurry it is fine but if you have time it is better to do it in home.

Ingredients
  • 2-3 potatoes
  • Frozen peas
  • Round green beans, can be frozen
  • 1 Carrot
  • 2-3 cans of tuna in oil
  • 3-4 boiled eggs
  • Olives
  • Lettuce
  • Cherrys tomatoes
  • A bowl with homemade or store-bought mayonnaise

Preparation
  1. We put a pot with water and a little salt. Cut the potatoes, carrots, green beans all into small pieces, when the water starts to boil add everything together with the peas and let it cook until everything is tender.
  2. On the other hand we cook the eggs.
  3. We prepare a source where we are going to put the salad. We will cover the bottom of the source with lettuce leaves.
  4. When the vegetables are cooked, drain them well, put them on top of the lettuce leaves, peel the eggs, cut into pieces and add to the previous mixture.
  5. We open the cans of tuna in oil, drain them and add to the mixture as well. We mix everything carefully since it is all very tender.
  6. We take the mayonnaise that can be bought or prepared, we add a good amount to the salad and mix it carefully.
  7. We put some olives and some cherry tomatoes.
  8. We put some mayonnaise in a bowl in case someone wants a little more.
  9. We will keep it in the fridge until serving time, to be very cold.
  10. And ready to eat !!!
