  • 400 gr. of butter
  • 150 gr. sugar
  • 50 ml. white wine
  • 50 ml. orange juice
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Preparation
  1. To prepare the homemade puff pastry, we first prepare all the ingredients.
  2. We clean the oranges, grate them and extract the juice. The butter must be left in the fridge until we are going to use it, it must be very cold.
  3. We sift the flour and put it in the bowl, put the sugar and the butter cut into squares, the orange zest, the juice and the white wine.
  4. We knead everything well, until everything is well integrated. We take out the dough and wrap it in plastic wrap, put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  5. After this time, we take out the dough, add a little flour on the counter and stretch the dough with a rolling pin.
  6. When it is stretched we fold it and pass the roller again.
  7. We repeat the same operation.
  8. We stretch the dough leaving it 1 cm or 5 cm high.
  9. To form the squares we will use some molds or a ruler and a cutter and we will form them.
  10. We are putting them on a plate where we will have put baking paper.
  11. We will put them in the oven until they are golden brown for about 30 minutes, the oven must be low at 150ºC they must be done slowly, otherwise the dough will not rise enough and it will not be flaky. When they are ready we take them out and let them cool.
  12. We will coat them in the icing sugar.
  13. And ready to eat !!!!
