Homemade Oreo cake

Homemade Oreo cake

This past weekend I went to visit the town to celebrate birthday from my dear mother. And to their surprise, I made an exquisite homemade Oreo cake, which was really a success for both adults and children.

This cake can be used for children's birthdays but also for older ones, but also as a refreshing and satisfying dessert for after lunch or dinner. With a delicious taste and a very juicy texture, this Oreo cake will be a triumph among your diners.

Ingredients

  • 40-45 Oreo type cookies.
  • 400 g of mascarpone cheese.
  • 70 g of butter.
  • 10 g of neutral gelatin.
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 200 g of sugar.
  • 180 ml of milk.
  • 500 g of cream.

Preparation

First, we must uncover each oreo cookie and remove the filling. We will put this in a bowl, and the cookies will be put in a mincer to crush them.

In a mold removable from the sides we will put the butter at room temperature and 3/4 of the crushed Oreo cookie. We will mix well with our hands until it is well integrated and we will distribute it on the base of the mold.

On the other hand, we will put fire under the cream of the cookies in a small saucepan. We will add the sugar and the mascarpone cheese, 3 tablespoons of milk and the vanilla essence, and we will stir well. With the other part of the milk we will dissolve the neutral gelatin in it, and we will also incorporate it into the saucepan. Stir for 2 minutes without letting it boil and let it warm.

Whip the cream with the rods and mix this with the cream that we have made before with enveloping movements so that the cream does not fall. Pour everything over the previous mold and let it cool for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Finally, with the crushed cookies that we reserve, we will put them in a strainer and sprinkle on top of our Oreo cake. To finish you can decorate with a little of the cream and small oreo cookies.
