Homemade almond flan

To start the week with joy and energy, today we have prepared a rich and quick almond flan with a touch of vanilla. A very rich dessert to enjoy as a couple or to prepare it for the children's snack or as a dessert after a light dinner.

The puddings They are very succulent and, if they are homemade like this, they are much healthier than the markets. This one in particular is made of almonds but you can also change this dried fruit for another that you like the most, in order to give it a personal touch.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs.
  • 3 cookies.
  • 65 g of sugar.
  • 65 g of ground almonds.
  • 1/4 of milk.
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence.

For candy:

  • 150 g of sugar.
  • 50 g of water.

Preparation

First, we will preheat the oven to 160ºC with heat up and down. As the process is very fast, we can heat the oven while we prepare the base mixture of our flan.

Later, in a glass or bowl we will dip the cookies in the milk and we will let it rest so that they absorb the milk.

Then, in a bowl we will beat the eggs and add the sugar. Then we will add the ground almond and the vanilla essence.

Next, we will add to the previous mix the soaked cookies in milk, stirring well so that everything is integrated and a homogeneous mixture remains.

Finally, we will do the candy heating the water and sugar in a saucepan until it turns blond. We will pour this into the individual molds and let it cool. Then, we will add the base of the flan and put in the oven for 15-25 minutes in the MAría bath.
