Ham and hard-boiled egg croquettes. They are a good aperitif, It is a tapas that is not lacking in any bar, they are very simple to prepare. they can also accompany us a dish. For children they are great, since they like them a lot.

We can make the croquettes of almost everything, chicken, vegetables, mushrooms, cheeses….
Also as a use, we can make good croquettes with any leftover. The good thing they have is that when we make many we can freeze them and always have them for any occasion.

Ingredients
  • 150 gr. of york ham or turkey
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 150 gr. breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs for the batter
  • For the bechamel:
  • 500 l. milk
  • 50 gr. Of flour
  • 50 gr. of butter
  • A little bit of nutmeg
  • Sal Island

Preparation
  1. We will cook the eggs. Chop the ham and the 2 hard-boiled eggs.
  2. We prepare a frying pan to make the béchamel sauce, we put the butter and the flour.
  3. We let it cook for a few minutes so that the flour is well done. We heat the milk a little in the microwave and we will add it to the pan little by little and without stopping to stir.
  4. So until we see that we have a thick cream without lumps.
  5. We add a little salt and nutmeg to taste. We add to the dough, the ham and the eggs cut into pieces.
  6. We stir and mix well. We let it rest until it is cold, we can leave it in the fridge.
  7. We prepare the batter, in a bowl we beat the two eggs and in another we put the breadcrumbs. When the dough is cold we will form the balls, it costs a little because the dough is very soft.
  8. Once we have passed them through egg and breadcrumbs, we leave them on a plate.
  9. At this point we can put them in a freezer bag, if we want. When they are all battered we will put a pan with plenty of oil, when it is hot we will fry the croquettes until they are golden brown.
  10. We will take them out and put them on a plate with absorbent paper.
  11. And they will be ready to eat !!!!
