Hake with paprika is a classic in our kitchens. A very simple recipe to prepare that can be made with other fish. This recipe is usually prepared separately from the ingredients and they finish all together with a rehash. I prepare everything in the same casserole, which is cooked and everything leaves a rich and flavorful sauce.
A great fish dish that is prepared with few ingredients and full of flavor, in which it is essential that the hake is of good quality. You also have to be careful not to overcook the hake, everything will depend on the thickness of the slices.

Ingredients
  • 1 hake sliced
  • 2-3 potatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Water glass 1
  • Sweet paprika or a little spicy, can be mixed
  • Oil and salt

Preparation
  1. To prepare the hake with paprika, we will first peel and cut the garlic into thin slices.
  2. Then we peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.
  3. We salt the hake slices.
  4. We put a casserole or frying pan, add a good jet of oil over medium heat, add the rolled garlic.
  5. When they begin to take color we add a teaspoon of sweet paprika, we stir it right away.
  6. Once we have stirred the paprika with the garlic and oil, add a glass of water and add the potatoes cut into thin slices. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Uncover the casserole, puncture the potatoes, if they are almost done, put the hake slices on top. We put a little of the sauce on top of the fish, cover and let the fish cook for 5-8 minutes, depending on how you like it in fact.
  8. When this time has passed we open the casserole, if the fish is ready we turn off. Let it rest for a few minutes.
  9. Take out and serve on a plate and sprinkle a little sweet or spicy paprika over the fish and a little of the sauce.
  10. And it will be ready.
