Hake in sauce

We are going to prepare a hake in sauce, a simple and easy recipe to prepare. Hake is a soft white fish, it has no fat, it is ideal for weight loss diets. It can also be made with frozen hake.

An ideal dish for a party or celebration, we just have to accompany this dish with some prawns, clams or mussels. If we want a stew-type dish, it can also be accompanied by some potatoes and it is a very good stew.

Ingredients
  • 1 hake
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika sweet
  • 500 ml. fish broth
  • 125 ml. white wine
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Parsley
  • Oil and salt

Preparation
  1. To prepare the hake in sauce, we will start with the hake, we will ask the fishmonger to clean the hake for us and cut it into slices.
  2. Chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  3. Put a jet of oil in a saucepan, add the onion, let it poach and add the minced garlic.
  4. When the onion and garlic begin to take color, add the fried tomato and sweet paprika, stir everything and mix well.
  5. Add a tablespoon of flour, mix with the sauce, add the white wine, let it reduce for a few minutes until the alcohol evaporates.
  6. Then we add the fish broth, let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  7. We salt the hake pieces, add it to the casserole and cook for 10 minutes, we will stir the casserole so that the sauce thickens.
  8. We taste salt and rectify.
  9. Chop a handful of parsley and sprinkle it over the fish.
  10. We turn off. We let it rest for a few minutes and serve.
