Sometimes using the oven to cook is the simplest and most comfortable. This is the case when we prepare the hake fillets in papillote that we propose today. The steaks go from the oven to the plate without staining anything thanks to the aluminum foil package that contains them.
The recipe is completed with some vegetables. In this case we have accompanied the onion and carrot hake, but you can use the vegetables that you like the most or that you have at the time of preparing it. It is a quick recipe; in the time it takes to prepare the table, they will be done!
- 2 large hake fillets
- ½ white onion in julienne
- 1 grated carrot
- 1-2 sliced garlic cloves
- 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
- Sal Island
- Black pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- We preheat the oven to 180ºC
- We put two pieces of aluminum foil on the oven tray. Big enough to be able to wrap the steaks and vegetables in a small packet.
- We spread the central part of each paper with olive oil.
- On the olive oil we place a onion bed and on this other carrot.
- Then we also place the sliced garlic and on this the seasoned hake fillets.
- Squeeze a little lemon on top, we add a few drops of oil and close the packages.
- We take them to the oven and cook for approximately 20 minutes.
- After time we remove from the oven, place a small package on each plate and serve.
