One of the advantages of this dish is that you can prepare it well in advance and thus you will not have to spend extra time in the kitchen. - 500 gr of raw prawns
- 250 gr of hake without bones
- sliced bread without crust
- 1 lettuce head
- Mayonnaise
- ½ glass of orange juice

- First we are going to cook the prawns, for this, we put a saucepan on the fire with water and plenty of coarse salt.
- Once the water starts to boil, add the prawns and cook them for about 4 or 5 minutes.
- While they cook, prepare a container with water and ice.
- When the prawns are ready, we go directly to the ice water to break the cooking, drain and reserve.
- In the same water, cook the hake for about 8 or 10 minutes.
- Once the fish is warm, we crumble it with our fingers and reserve in a large container.
- Peel and chop the prawns well, reserving 9 units to decorate, and mix with the hake.
- Now we are going to prepare the sauce, we will put 3 abundant tablespoons of mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons of ketchup, the orange juice and a sprig of clean and chopped dill, we reserve.
- To assemble the cake, we will need a rectangular cake-type container, we line it with aluminum foil.
- We are placing slices of bread, being careful to cover the bottom well.
- Divide the cake filling into 3 and place the first part on the bottom of the mold, distributing well with a spoon.
- We put another layer of sliced bread and crush with our hands.
- Now, we chop the lettuce, wash and drain well.
- Again, we put another layer of filling on the bread.
- In this layer, we will put the lettuce cut in julienne.
- We cover again with sliced bread and crush.
- We put the last layer of filling and the last of sliced bread and carefully crush with our hands.
- Cover with aluminum foil and place a brick on top to press, leave in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- After that time, we have to unmold the cake on the source where we are going to serve it.
- We prepare the sauce to cover the cake, for this we will need 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 3 tablespoons of cream cheese.
- With the help of a spatula, cover the entire surface of the cake well and decorate with dill and some prawns.
