Green beans with bagna cauda

The garden rules, hence the green beans are becoming common at many tables. One of the easiest ways to cook them is in the fast pot, with some potatoes. Of course they can be cooked in the traditional way, but this way nobody can use time as an excuse.

To brighten up the dish a bit we have also added boiled egg and our own version of Bagna cauda. And we say version, because we have used the ingredients with which this sauce is made: olive oil, garlic and anchovies, worse we have not done it in the traditional way. Do you dare to try it?

Ingredients
  • 400 g. green beans
  • Small potatoes 2
  • 2 boiled eggs
For the bagna cauda
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 anchovy fillets in oil
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation
  1. We clean the green beansWe remove the threads if necessary and split into two or three pieces.
  2. In the express pot We place the chopped green beans together with two small potatoes, peeled and in pieces.
  3. Cover with water, lightly salt and close the pot. Cook 8-10 minutes.
  4. We turn off the heat, let the steam out of the pot and open it.
  5. In a frying pan we pour a drizzle of olive oil. We chop the anchovies We add them to the pan together with the peeled garlic cloves. Let the whole cook over low heat until the anchovies are dissolved and the garlic cloves are golden brown.
  6. We drain the beans and the potatoes and we divide them on two plates.
  7. We decorate the plate with the laminated boiled egg and pour over the bagna cauda.
