Goat cheese, mushroom and spinach toasts
This recipe prepares so quickly and has such a combination of flavors that I couldn't stop sharing it. You can serve it as an aperitif with a wine before eating, or combine it with other canapés and present it at the table as part of a set of cold starters.
The toast is made with cheese from goat roll, mushrooms and spinach. It goes without saying that the toasts will improve if you use quality ingredients and opt for some fresh spinach. Once you have everything you need on the table, making it will be child's play.
Ingredients
For two
- 4 slices of Bread
- Half a garlic clove
- Mushrooms
- Goat cheese
- 1 handful of fresh spinach
- Extra virgin olive oil
Crafting
We put a couple of tablespoons of oil to heat in a pan. We add the garlic and let it cool for a few seconds.
Next, we add the mushrooms cut into halves or quarters depending on their size. We sauté over high heat until they take color and are tender.
We drain them and pour them into a bowl with the spinach. We stir so that the flavors are integrated.
We place on top of the toasted bread a few slices of goat cheese, thin. On top, we serve the mixture of mushrooms and spinach.
We serve immediately, when it is still warm
