Ingredients
  • 350g flour
  • 125g creamy butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g of cane honey or molasses
  • 1 medium egg
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • To decorate:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk

Preparation
  1. We sift the flour along with the rest of the dry ingredients.
  2. We beat in a bowl butter with brown sugar until mixture is white. Mix the rest of the ingredients one by one until it can be formed a compact ball. If after mixing the ball crumbles, you can add a tablespoon of milk.
  3. We divide the dough In two or three parts and with the help of a rolling pin, we spread the dough between two baking papers until it is approximately 6 mm thick. * If the dough is very soft, you can refrigerate it for 10 minutes and then stretch it.
  4. We cut the dolls With the cutter, we place them on the lined baking tray and put them in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180ºC with heat up and down.
  6. After time, we took the dolls out of the fridge and we put in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
