German sausage cake
All the sausages is one of favorite foods for childrenTherefore, today we propose to cook them in a different way. Accompanied by a light mashed potatoes and a superficial layer of cheese, it makes a great snack with a lot of flavor.
This recipe acquires the name of German sausage cake, a typical recipe from the country of Germany. Great for lunch because of its strength of ingredients. In addition, it is very simple to do for when we are in a hurry to make the meal.
Ingredients
- 3-4 potatoes.
- 2 packages of thin sausages.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 brick of cream (200 ml).
- Water.
- Olive oil.
- Pinch of salt.
- Parsley.
Preparation
First, we will do a mashed potatoes. To do this, we will cook the potatoes with plenty of water for about 20-25 minutes. Then we will let them temper, we will peel them and we will pass them through a food processor. We will add chopped parsley and a good drizzle of olive oil. We will stir well until there is a homogeneous and somewhat loose puree.
We will put this mashed potatoes on a deep dish for the oven. On top we will put the sausages cut in half, throughout, covering all the mashed potatoes.
Then, in a bowl we will mix the 3 eggs with the cream. We will beat with some rods and add salt, chopped parsley and a little nutmeg. We will pour this mixture over the sausages and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Finally, we will bake for 30 minutes this German sausage pie. The result is that the mixture of eggs and cream is well set and the cheese is completely melted and integrated into the previous mixture. I hope you like it.
