The recipe that we present today serves as a garnish for another dish or as a small "tapas" before a main course. They are fried onion rings, which do not have too much complication to make them, but in this recipe we have changed a couple of traditional ingredients for two somewhat "healthier" alternatives.

Ingredients
  • 450 ml of aceite oliva
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 glass of whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 200 ml whole milk

Preparation
  1. The first thing we will do is place absorbent paper dishes on a plate. That is where we will add our already fried onion rings.
  2. The second thing will be to put a pan with 450 ml of olive oil to heat.
  3. In a dish, we will mix the whole wheat flour with the tablespoon of pink salt, and in a separate bowl we will add the milk whole.
  4. we'll go peeling the two onions and slicing them, more or less than half a centimeter fine. Once the process is: put them in the mixture of flour and salt, pass them through the milk and put them back in flour. Once this is done, the step will be to fry them on both sides and remove them when they are golden brown.
