Fried bananas with coconut

It is common to think that the banana is a fruit that makes you fat, but in reality, a medium banana has only 10 calories more than a large apple, with the advantage that it is a very satiating food and suppresses the appetite. It is also very rich in minerals such as potassium and vitamins. Today we are going to prepare some fried bananas with grated coconut, with the aroma and mild flavor of this fruit, although this recipe is not suitable for low-calorie diets.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • bananas
  • shredded coconut
  • eggs
  • frying oil

Preparation:

We peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Then we pass the halves through beaten egg and grated coconut, pressing so that it adheres well to the banana.

We fry them in plenty of hot oil. We drain them well and place on absorbent paper.

We eat them warm and we can accompany them, depending on our tastes, with melted chocolate and cream, caramel or dulce de leche, or ice cream to taste.
