Ingredients
  • 250g Emmenthal cheese, grated
  • 250g Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic, cut in half
  • 250cc of dry white wine
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pagés bread

Preparation
  1. First, with the help of a knife, we empty the bread crumbs by drawing a circle at the top, removing the lid and removing the bread crumbs with the help of our fingers. We mix the cheeses with the cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. We cut the garlic clove in half and rub the bottom of the pot in which we are going to prepare the fondue.
  3. We pour the wine into the pot and heat over medium heat.
  4. When the wine starts to boil, we gradually incorporate the cheese mixture. We stir with a wooden spoon, in the form of eight (this is very important).
  5. When we have achieved a uniform dough without lumps, we add salt and pepper to taste and even add a little nutmeg.
  6. We pour the contents of the pot into our bread bowl.
  7. We serve immediately
