Energy and satiating bars
Do you like sports, be in shape or do you do a diet? If so, keep reading because I am going to tell you how to prepare some delicious energy bars that are very healthy and easy to make that can help us to "kill the bug" or to regain strength before doing physical exercise.
They are made with oatmeal but we are also going to add dehydrated fruit, so it will become a pleasant and also very satiating snack, and that will help us avoid excessive pecking, which in the end is what we find most. makes our diet lose balance.
Ingredients (for about 20 bars)
- 170 g of oat flakes
- 50 gr of dehydrated fruit (coconut, banana, raisins, etc)
- 2 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- A pinch of salt
Crafting
Preheat the oven to 200ºC and cover a square mold with parchment paper. In the pan without any oil, we are going to cook the oats a little, stirring constantly. A couple of minutes is enough. Let it cool and while we are going to beat the eggs with the sugar until it doubles in volume. We add the salt, the dehydrated fruit and the oats, we beat again until everything is well mixed.
We place the mixture in the mold and equalize the surface. Bake at 200ºC for 30 minutes or until golden brown. To see if it is made inside you can prick it with a knife and, if it comes out dry, it is ready. If it still has left and the surface has browned, cover it with aluminum foil and continue baking until done.
When ready, let it cool completely on a wire rack. Then cut into bars, carefully because as it does not have fat, it crumbles easily. And ready.
