  • 2 cloves of garlic

Preparation
  1. To prepare the basil or pesto sauce, we will first wash the basil leaves by removing the stems under the tap, dry with kitchen paper. We have to remove all the water from the leaves.
  2. Put the pine nuts in a pan, lightly toast them. We booked.
  3. Peel the garlic and cut into pieces.
  4. The sauce can be made in a mortar by hand or in a food processor.
  5. We put all the ingredients the basil, the grated Parmesan cheese, the pine nuts, the garlic and part of the oil, leaving half the oil aside and a little salt. We put everything in a robot or a glass to grind.
  6. We grind everything until a paste is formed with no pieces of pine nuts left, we will continue adding the rest of the oil little by little and grinding until all the oil is integrated, if you like it lighter, add more oil or less as we like it.
  7. And it will be ready, we put it in a sauce boat accompanied by a little grated cheese.
