Puff pastry star with Nutella

Ingredients
  • 2 round puff pastry sheets
  • A jar of Nutella 250gr. or chocolate
  • 1 egg to paint the puff pastry
Preparation
  1. We place a puff pastry base on baking paper and put it on the oven plate.
  2. We take the Nutella pot and heat the cocoa cream for a few seconds to be able to handle it better.
  3. Spread a layer of Nutella on the puff pastry, leaving 1 cm. around.
  4. We place the other layer of puff pastry on top of the dough with Nutella.
  5. With the help of a glass we mark the center, then we divide the crown into four parts, and these into four other parts and so on until there are 16 equal parts.
  6. We will roll the strips very carefully, we take with each hand a strip and twist it, one for the right and one for the left side and so on until the entire star is finished.
  7. We beat the egg and with a kitchen brush we paint the entire base of the star, spread the edges well so that they are well sealed and put in the oven.
  8. Bake at 200ÂșC for about 20 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown.
  9. We can decorate it with icing sugar.
  10. And now we just have to eat it !!! We let it warm and we can eat it, freshly made, the puff pastry is very crunchy and it is much better.
