Apple and cinnamon dumplings

Today I share with you some great dumplings stuffed with apple and cinnamon. A very rich and simple dessert that we can prepare with few ingredients.

The dough for the dumplings can be bought already prepared and put the filling that you like the most, it admits an infinity of fillings, both sweet and salty, we can also prepare fillings of use, where we can prepare them with meat that we have left from a roast, fish or vegetables, in sweet you can fill them with many fruits.

This time I have filled them with apple and cinnamon, since they are very good and the combination of apple and cinnamon is delicious. Try them that you will like !!

Ingredients
  • A packet of dumplings
  • 4 apples
  • 50 gr. of butter
  • 50 gr. brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 egg
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation
  1. First, we will peel the apples, remove the center and cut them into small pieces.
  2. We put the apple in a pan, the butter and the brown sugar.
  3. We will leave it over low heat until the apples are soft, then we will put the cinnamon spoon, we will stir everything well for a few minutes and turn off. We let it cool down.
  4. We will turn the oven to 180º, we prepare the wafers, we put them one by one with the paper that they carry on the counter, we will put in the center of each wafer a little of the apple filling.
  5. We fold them, close the dumplings, sealing the edges, with the help of a fork.
  6. We take a baking sheet, put baking paper and in it we will put the dumplings.
  7. We beat an egg, with a kitchen brush we will paint the dumplings.
  8. We will introduce them to the oven and we will leave them until they are golden. We will take out and sprinkle them with icing sugar.
  9. And ready to eat !!!
