Easy, hassle-free dough dough
I have tried different ways of making a versatile dough that works well for making empanadas, fried dumplings or even pizza, and this is one of the "winning" doughs. Quick and easy, with ingredients that we always have on hand and without the need for kitchen machines.
The amounts I use are large in order to freeze in portions For future occasions. It is enough to remove the dough 2-3 hours before the freezer to be able to stretch it and prepare delicious empanadas or tuna patties or meat.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of flour.
- 220 ml of milk
- 220 ml of sunflower oil
- 220 ml of white wine
- 1 egg.
- A pinch of salt
Crafting
In a bowl we put the flour and salt, making a hollow in the center.
We pour the wine, milk, oil and finally the egg into the hole. We started to mix by hand all the ingredients of the dough until we see that it is manageable, that it barely sticks.
When we achieve the right consistency, we pass it to a floured table or countertop and continue kneading with both hands until obtaining smooth and elastic compact dough.
Next we cut the piece that we are going to use and we stretch with a roller until we get the necessary thickness to make our empanada, empanadillas or pizza. Freeze the rest wrapped in plastic wrap.
Crafting
In the first image you can see the dough ready and stretched to create the patty wafers and the dough almost at the end of the kneading process, when roughness was still visible.
