In cold days there is nothing more appetizing than a good hot plate scooping. Do you like white beans? Not much to me but from time to time they feel like it ... Today we bring you this cooked white beans which I suppose we have all eaten on occasion. A traditional dish of grandmothers and mothers that for many years that pass will always be on our tables ... Especially in Spain.

Ingredients
  • 500 grams of white beans
  • 3 potatoes
  • Carrots 2
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • ½ onion
  • ½ ripe tomato
  • 4 small ball-type sausages
  • Liter and a half of water
  • Paprika
  • Laurel
  • Sal Island
  • Olive oil

Preparation
  1. So that the beans do not take too long to cook, we will leave them dipped in water the night before to cook them.
  2. We put a pot over medium heat, with a good splash of olive oil. When it is hot we add the garlic (you may or may not peel them), the average onion (unlaminated), the medium tomato (not cut into pieces but without skin), carrots in tacos small-medium and taquitos potatoes. We let everything cook for about 5 minutes and then we add a little salt, sweet paprika for color and two or three bay leaves. We leave again about 5-10 minutes for all the flavors to bind. Next we will take the chorizo ​​and beans. We leave another 5 minutes over medium heat and we stir well so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.
  3. When these last 5 minutes have passed, we cover it all with water (a liter and a half more or less), we add a little more salt and let it simmer for about a hour and half.
  4. During this time we will check that it does not stick, the amount of water if you have to add a little more, the hardness of the ingredients and the salt. Set aside when everything is cooked and ready.
