Coconut flan and condensed milk

Coconut flan, a simple dessert, fast and very good, ideal for dessert after a good meal.

Flan is a highly appreciated dessert, who doesn't like it. In all the houses they have their favorite flan, since it can be made in many ways and flavors.

This time I bring you a very rich coconut and condensed milk flan, the coconut gives a very pleasant flavor and texture that you like a lot.

Ingredients
  • 500 ml. whole milk or coconut milk
  • 300 gr. condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr. grated coconut
  • 1 jar of liquid caramel

Preparation
  1. To prepare the condensed milk and coconut flan, we will start by putting the oven to heat, we will take a tray larger than the mold where we put the flan, we will add about 2 fingers of water, we put in the oven it is heated to 180ºC.
  2. We take a mold for the flan, cover the liquid caramel base, we can make it at home or buy it already prepared. We booked.
  3. In a bowl we put the eggs and milk, beat and mix.
  4. Add the condensed milk and mix well.
  5. Add part of the grated coconut to the previous mixture. We mix.
  6. We pour all the mixture into the mold where we have the caramel, on top we distribute the rest of the grated coconut, we put the flan mold on the baking tray that we have with the water, so that it is cooked in a bain-marie.
  7. We leave it until the flan is cooked, about 40 minutes or until when punctured in the center it comes out dry. The time to make will depend on the oven.
  8. When it is, we take it out, let it cool. Unmold and serve with a little more grated coconut if you like.
