Chorizo preñaitos
Los preñaitos is a typical bread roll from Spain which is frequently filled with chistorra or chorizo, although we can also fill it with salty and healthy foods such as sweets or creams. In this way, we find a juicy bun with a surprise inside.
These buns are very tasty as a snack or quick dinners or as snacks when unexpected visitors arrive. A delicious and smooth snack with a lot of flavor thanks to its fillings. In our case, we have opted for a very juicy Iberian chorizo to give it a rustic to our preñaitos.
Ingredients
- 1 glass of water.
- 250 g of flour.
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Pinch of salt.
- 25 g of baker's yeast.
- Iberian chorizo.
Preparation
First, we will do the . To do this, we will heat the water for a few seconds in the microwave so that it is tempered and thus be able to dissolve the yeast in it. We will place this in a large bowl where we will add the oil and flour little by little. Add the salt and knead well until you get a homogeneous and elastic dough. We will let it rest for half an hour.
Meanwhile, we will cut the thinly sliced chorizo and we will cut these in half, so that there is no problem in placing them in the preñaitos.
Once the dough has fermented, we will take small portions and make balls. We will crush them and we will introduce inside a piece of chorizo, we will close them and we will mold it into a ball and a little elongated.
Finally, we will place them on a baking tray and let them ferment for another half hour. Then we will paint with beaten egg and introduce the oven, already preheated, about 20-25 minutes.
