Chocolate truffles with brandy

All the chocolate truffles al brandy are an easy dessert to prepare. They also become the best gift to surprise chocolate lovers, wrapped in colored paper or presented in fun capsules.

Ingredients

  • 375 grams dark chocolate topping
  • 2 tablespoons of condensed milk
  • 250 ml. liquid cream (35% fat)
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 1 splash of brandy
  • Chocolate coating (optional)
  • Cocoa powder to decorate

Crafting

We put the chocolate and butter in a bowl and the we melt to the bain-marie. Once melted, we mix them with a wooden spoon or silicone shovel.

In a saucepan we heat the cream until it boils and we let it warm before adding it to our chocolate bowl and mixing it well. Next we add the blandy and mix until obtaining a homogeneous dough.

We pass the dough to a source and we let it cool at room temperature for 24 hours or in the refrigerator overnight.

After this time, we shape the truffles with the help of two dessert spoons and our hands. We create a chocolate coating (optional) and to finish the we batter in cocoa powdered.

We can present them wrapped in Color papers or envelope in small capsules, at room temperature or cold.

Notes

At room temperature, the flavor and texture of the truffles is better appreciated. However, in summer it is common to keep them in the fridge.
