Chocolate syrup to coat cakes and biscuits

We will prepare a simple syrup recipe that will be very useful when you need to use it to coat cakes, cakes or biscuits with the delicious chocolate flavor, using in this case good quality bitter cocoa.

Ingredients:

300 grams of sugar
350 cc of water
2 tablespoons soft butter
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
40 grams of bitter cocoa (good quality)

Preparation:

Put the sugar and water in a pot and cook over high heat and when it broke the boil, let it boil for approximately 7 minutes. Then you remove from the heat and add the cocoa and stir.

To this mixture add the soft butter, the vanilla essence and mix with soft and enveloping movements. Let the preparation cool. Once the syrup is cold, you can use it to cover or bathe the cake or sponge cake.
