Chocolate and biscuit flan

Chocolate and biscuit flan, a quick and easy dessert to prepare. Also known as the grandmother's cake. As you know, I like to prepare quick dishes that are good, like this chocolate custard cake.
It is as simple as preparing a slightly thicker custard and filling it with cookies. Who doesn't like this dessert?

Ingredients
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 5 tablespoons of well heaped cornmeal (Maizena)
  • 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • Yolks 4
  • 150 grams of sugars
  • 1 package of Marías cookies

Preparation
  1. To make the chocolate and biscuit flan, we first heat the milk.
  2. From the liter of milk we separate a glass, the rest we put in a saucepan together with the sugar and cocoa. We will put the saucepan over medium heat and stir until everything is dissolved.
  3. We separate the yolks from the whites.
  4. We take the glass of milk that we have set aside, add the eggs, mix. Add the cornmeal, stirring well until it is all dissolved.
  5. When the saucepan starts to boil, add the mixture from the glass with the eggs and the cornmeal. We will stir without stopping until it boils again, we lower the heat, let it thicken the mixture for a few minutes and turn off.
  6. We take a mold, we put a layer of chocolate flan, on top we put some cookies.
  7. So until the cake is finished. We will put it in the fridge to cool and take consistency for 3-4 hours. At the time of serving, we chop a few cookies or nuts and sprinkle on top.
  8. And ready to eat!!!
