Chocolate filled puff pastries, a very simple and quick snack to make. If we have puff pastry we can prepare many recipes, both sweet and savory. I always have puff pastry and chocolate, now with the time we are spending at home I don't lack to make recipes.
A delicacy to accompany a coffee or snack. A simple recipe that requires very few ingredients and some discs or round molds, they are a delight and are ideal for snacks for the little ones.
I have prepared these buns filled with chocolate, but they can be prepared with many fillings and even salty. This recipe is very classic and well known, but I had never made it, until this past week when we felt like something sweet and I thought of these chocolate buns.
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- Chocolate cream
- 1 egg
- Sugar glass
- To prepare the puff pastries filled with chocolate, we will start by stretching the dough on the countertop. With the help of round molds, cut the discs of dough that are not very large.
- In each disc we will put a spoonful of chocolate in the center. We will put the filling in the center of the disc with the other half we will cover and form the buns.
- In a bowl, beat the egg.
- We paint around the dough so that the dough that we put on top sticks well.
- Once we have put all the discs on top of each one, we seal them with a fork around them and with a kitchen brush we paint the buns.
- We put in the oven at 180ºC with the oven preheated. Once the buns are golden, remove them from the oven.
- Let cool, sprinkle with icing sugar and we have our snack ready.
