Chocolate filled croissant

Chocolate filled croissant as a dessert or snack they are ideal. Very simple to prepare, we just have to have puff pastry and chocolate.

The chocolate filled croissants always like, especially for the little ones, but they can also be filled with jam, cream, fruits…. We can prepare a variety of them, they are always very good and with very crunchy puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • Hazelnut cream or chocolate to melt
  • Egg
  • Sugar glass

Preparation
  1. To prepare the chocolate-filled croissants, we first turn on the oven at 180º C.
  2. We take the melting chocolate, half a tablet, put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes at 600, remove and stir. The cocoa cream that they already sell made is also worth it.
  3. We prepare the croissants, spread the dough on the counter and put a little flour, with a pizza cutter we make triangles, if the dough is round it is better to make them.
  4. At the widest edge of the puff pastry in the center we make a small cut and in the center we put the cocoa cream or a tablespoon of melted chocolate.
  5. We roll each triangle from the wide part to the narrow part, leaving the chocolate inside and shaping it into a croissant, turning the ends inwards.
  6. We will put the chocolate-filled croissants on a baking tray, lined with greaseproof paper.
  7. We beat the egg and with a brush we will paint the croissants to give them color
  8. We will put them in the oven until they are golden brown about 20-25 minutes.
  9. When they are golden, we take them out, let them cool and sprinkle them with icing sugar.
  10. And they will be ready to eat !!
  11. They are very rich and crisp.
